Please read these terms before using FinVault.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using FinVault, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Purpose of the App

FinVault is a personal finance tracking application designed to help users record income, expenses, lending, budgets, reports, backups, and related financial notes.

FinVault is a record-keeping tool only. It does not provide banking, lending, investment, tax, legal, or financial advice.

4. Local Mode and PIN Recovery

Local Mode data is stored on your own device. If you enable PIN/encrypted local vault protection and forget the PIN, FinVault cannot recover encrypted local data by email.

Your recovery options may be limited to restoring a JSON backup or resetting the local vault, which may delete local data.

5. Cloud Sync

Cloud Sync uses Firebase services for authenticated users. Access to cloud data is protected by login and security rules, but users must keep their own account credentials secure.

6. Backups and Exports

Backup/export files may contain financial records. Store them safely and do not share them with unknown people.

7. Anti-Scam Notice

FinVault never asks for OTP, UPI PIN, ATM PIN, card PIN, CVV, internet banking password, screen sharing, or payment approval.

8. Limitation of Liability

FinVault is provided as-is without warranties. The developer is not responsible for financial loss, data loss, accidental deletion, unauthorized access caused by compromised devices/accounts, third-party services, or user negligence.

For cloud account deletion requests, use the official Delete Account page or contact support.
